I've had the great joy of owning and caring for several dogs in my lifetime. Ever since I was young I've been trusted with the pets of friends, family members, and neighbors. I genuinely love every dog I see, and believe that each pupper has their own unique and wonderful personality. In the past, I have also loved and owned 2 cats, each whose personality utterly charmed me. Currently, I have a 2 year-old Lab-Australian Shepherd mix. She is such an energetic and goofy girl. I routinely take her out on hikes with me, so if you have a very high-energy dog, I will have no trouble getting them the exercise they need. Before Luna came along, we had a Rhodesian Ridge back mix . I loved her very much but like many Rhodesians, she could be stubborn. From her I learned the patience that is needed for many dogs; patience that will be used on your dog as well. I always try to speak to them gently. It is important to me that I form a relationship with your pup. Over the years, I've sat many dogs, some of which had very specific instructions for care. I make sure I do everything precisely and the more detail the better! I have experience with elderly dogs and have been responsible for their medication as well, from sitting and personal experience with my own dogs. My experience with cats is more limited, but I have cared for a handful of cats in the past years and owned a cat before when I was younger. I love the little guys and think that there few things more calming than a cat purring in your lap. For my entire life I've been surrounded by these amazing creatures, and I can't think of a more rewarding job than caring for yours.
