Hello! My name is Sarah. I am a double Spanish and Zoology major with over a decade of experience in small and large animal rescue, care, training, medicine, and rehabilitation. I also have extensive experience in child care and home sitting, making me a responsible, reliable, and trustworthy sitter for your furry family. I love engaging animals in enriching and constructive activities to target their individual needs. Given my flexible schedule, I cater to your pets needs, whether that be an engaging and active environment, or a calm, soothing one. As a Zoology major I am able to adapt to your pets needs and can provide medical care, emergency response, specialized feeding, training, structured daily routines, and more! Sarah is great! She was able to come stay with Palmer earlier than expected at the last minute and got him out & about for the day. So glad I found someone perfect for my little guy!
Sarah is just plain awesome! She is our first “Rover experience” and I’m not sure we could ever have asked for a better caretaker for our 2 dogs. She sent pictures of them throughout our trip, threw the tennis ball a million times, and took them to run around off-leash...But best of all she gave them SO much love. When we got home and they saw it was us to pull in the driveway, I think it was a big let-down. We are having Sarah back as many times as she’ll come! She took great care of our house, too. Thank you, Sarah!
I could tell from the minute I met Sarah that she loved animals and was a great match for my senior pup. She paid more attention to my fur-baby than me - what a great sign! And she really understands my senior's special needs. I loved the Rover Card update and pictures Sarah sent through the app. She is super responsive too. I've already booked my next walk - Sarah provides peace of mind that my baby is taken care of while I'm at work.

I love animals of all breeds and sizes, but would like to know the personality of your furry friend before providing services, in order to be able to identify any abnormal changes in behavior. I would also like to know your typical feeding/sleeping/potty schedule if applicable. I want to keep your pet comfortable, and knowing their normal routine, likes, and dislikes helps me do that while you're away!
A typical day
Being a student, I have a highly flexible schedule. I have both the time and the resources available to me to provide your pet with top care and attention. I aim to provide enriching, engaging, and constructive activities that are tailored to your pets lifestyle and individual needs. I can provide your pet frequent walks or runs, trips to the lake, hikes, drives (windows down of course), park play in a fenced area, and even play with the friendly neighborhood pups!
