Hello! I'm Sarah, I've been caring for pets and domestic farm animals for most of my life. I grew up with lots of dogs in my family, as well as cats, horses, goats, sheep and birds! I also foster dogs and cats from the Humane Rescue Alliance in DC. I love to be active and hike in Rock Creek with my own dog Jaco, and believe that it is our duty as pet owners to provide our furry friends with ample physical and mental stimulation and lots of love and affection! I have taken courses through HRA on bottle feeding babies, medication administration, behavioral intervention, and basic obedience training. I can assist owners with leash training and obedience when your pet is in my care. My dog and I are currently working towards getting his Canine Good Civilian certification. Please consider me as your pet care provider. BOARDING: Boarded dogs will take three daily walks, more for high energy dogs or less for those who are old or easily worn out. I live near a dog park for those pups who love to run! When your dog is in my care, I take special precaution to correctly socialize then with my own dog, to give you peace of mind and ensure that all animals are comfortable and feel secure. Please let me know if your dog has any issues with resource guarding, separation anxiety, or socialization. I'll do my best to make my home safe and free from potential triggers for your pet. I am willing to bathe, groom and administer any needed medications upon request. HOUSE SITTING: House sat dogs will be attended to full time! House sitting comes with a complimentary cleaning of common rooms and bathrooms. Your pup will always be fully supervised, whether on walks, in the backyard, or at local parks.
