I am self-employed and flexible. Although I have open availability when not traveling or already sitting, I prefer to do sitting during the daytime and during the week versus weekends/ overnights.

Our cats are indoor only, and our dogs are crate trained and have wonderful recall (they also wear GPS collars when outside at all times). I'm happy to use our environment to meet your needs, or to travel to your home for services.

Pet care experience
I grew up with a room full of animals- mice, lizards, frogs, insects, birds, and more! My favorite place as a child was the zoo, aquarium, farm, and pet stores. Although I spent my childhood mostly around cats, I've spent my adult life dedicated to creating the perfect home environment and lifestyle for both cats and dogs. I have trained our cats to give boops, high fives, low fives. I believe a well trained dog truly creates a lasting bond, as it grants them the freedom to just be... dogs. Therefore, I spend each day as an opportunity to work with both my own and those I sit on their training (from puppy to senior).

I knew Sarah would be an amazing sitter when I saw how well she raised her own two dogs from puppies, but she’s exceeded my expectations! Her services have not only made it possible for me to adopt a 10-week old puppy while working full-time, but after only a few days in her care there are noticeable improvements in her behavior. Her training, as well as exposure to Sarah’s own well-trained dogs, is just what my Jojo needs at this age. Sarah is also excellent with communication, providing great notes about Jojo’s activities and photos throughout the day, and also thoughtful guidance for me as a first-time dog mom. I feel so lucky to have found her, and would recommend her as a dog-sitter or trainer to anyone!
