I will listen to all of your needs and concerns for your loved one just like I would want a pet sitter to do for me. You can call, text, or e-mail me as often as you like. I will send you pictures, videos, and updates about your furry pal. Know that I am willing to customize everything (within reason) for your pet just like I would hope others would do for my pup. For dog walks, the standard time length is 30 minutes but I usually take an extra 5-15 minutes to be with your pup. I make sure they drink an adequate amount of water, that they get lots of pets, and play around with their favorite toy if he/she lets me know he/she wants to play. All of that activity may result in another quick potty outing which I am 100% okay with because I want your pet to be comfortable before I leave. I grew up with two miniature dachshunds, one crazy beagle, and two irish setters. I watched them grow old, lose their sight and hearing, and hobble around during which I showed patience and compassion making adjustments to their needs. For example, I would make sure my blind dachshund's toy was in her bed every night because I knew she was expecting it but she usually left it outside during the day. Currently, I have a beautiful laid-back black lab named Appa. He is my pride and joy. I personally trained Appa to become Canine Citizen Certified and a therapy dog. He loves to do tricks for treats and gets along with all dogs. I happy to bring him along on walks if you think your pup would enjoy a companion or leave him at home. :)
