*PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE FOR A BOOKING* Experienced house sitter offering a great alternative to a kennel or cattery. This means your furry friends can stay in the comfort of their own home. I give local pet owners peace of mind, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in safe hands. I’m a very responsible and clean person, meaning I will leave your home the way I found it. I have years of experience in dog/cat care and I work in the animal rescue sector. I have a great understanding of each animal's individual needs and behaviour. I am used to working with a variety of pets, so please be ensured that their needs will be met to a high standard. I also study Animal Care & Welfare. I'm very patient with animals and easily connect with them. I love them and they seem to love me back! Your pet will be treated as one of my own, I love animals and always put their needs first. I have experience with young, senior, rescue and special needs dogs and cats, so they're all very welcome. *To all previous pet owners; unfortunately I am no longer offering boarding in my own home due to one of my cats getting older and needing a more peaceful environment* Please get in touch if you have any queries, I'm happy to answer any questions!

Sarah looked after our senior wire haired viszla for two days and nights while we were away at our daughter’s wedding. He doesn’t fare well in kennels and Sarah was able to care for him in his own environment and give him his daily exercise that he looks forward to. He has to have medication administered throughout the day and Sarah was able to do this whilst ensuring that he didn’t miss his ‘mum’ and ‘dad’. She also sent us reports and photos showing how he was getting on which reassured us that he was ok. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sarah to anyone requiring ‘in house’ care for their dog.
Tiff’s second stay with Sarah. She had a fabulous time. Sarah kept me up to date with how she was doing with pictures which is always lovely to see how she’s doing. She communicated well before the stay as tiff has previously had significant mobility issues so she was mindful of this. Tiff is happy to go back! Feel confident leaving her with Sarah she’s fab x
I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough. The cats didn't seem to miss us at all! She sent regular updates and photos/videos and looked after the cats like they were her own. The house was immaculate when we got back. It's the first holiday I've had in years where I haven't worried about them at all. Thanks Sarah you are marvellous x
It was the first time Jamba went for day care with Sarah. Usually when we pick him up from someone he is desperate to get out of the door but not when we went to collect him from Sarah. He seemed really happy being with Sarah and was certainly in no rush to go home. We will definitely be using Sarah again for an overnight stay so my husband and I can have a weekend break without constantly saying to eachother "I wonder what Jamba is doing ". I would recommend Sarah 100%. It was obvious Sarah was an animal lover and knew what she was doing. Lovely home and a lovely friendly person xx

I will always ensure that any dog is kept in an enclosed yard when off the lead. I will ensure that house cats are kept safe and take extra precaution when entering/leaving the home. If preferred, I will always keep dogs on a lead to ensure they're always safe.

A typical day
Lots of play time and of course cuddles! I love walking so I will happily take your dog on big walks throughout the day, maybe even into the fells. I love to keep dogs active and keep them stimulated. For cats, I will ensure all their needs are met by being a calm companion for them and use play time for healthy enrichment.

I work 4 days a week at an animal rescue so I can offer house sitting for dogs depending on the days needed. I can house sit for cats full time.
