You love your dog? I will, too!
Pet care experience
*Please note that I require a meet and greet with any new dog prior to the first stay - no exceptions. Due to other responsibilities, a same-day booking for a new client is therefore not possible. I apologize for any inconvenience and wish you the best of luck taking care of your pet sitting needs. Thank you.* On top of being a life long animal lover that has had a variety of pets, I’ve also been a volunteer zookeeper and John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids, Michigan for 5 years. I spoil my own dogs with regular trips to the dog park and walks throughout the neighborhood. When I’m not home, my husband, Justin, is and he has also had animals his entire life and provides the same love and attention I will for your pets. For boarding and day care services, your pet will be one of the family having regular access to our safe and secure larger fenced yard where your pup can chase the occasional rabbit and maybe even bark at a squirrel, all while running out loads of energy playing with our two friendly dogs and happy toddler. The same type of attention will be afforded to our drop-in and walking customers where we’ll make sure your pet is set until you are able to return home. When you call on me, you get a team.

Sarah is a Saint with our pups! They love going to see her and are exhausted when they get home! :) We never have to worry about how they are being treated! She treats them like family! I would highly recommend Sarah!
I was very nervous leaving my golden with someone whom he hadn't stayed with before, but he had an amazing time with Sarah and her family. We did a meet-and-greet ahead of time so her dogs and my dog were able to hang out together which was super nice. During my trip, she sent me emails and photos to keep me updated on how he was doing, eating, sleeping and using the bathroom. He birthday was on the last day of my trip and she even made him a special birthday meal, treats and gave him a card. He seemed to have a wonderful time and I will definitely choose to board my dog with Sarah again if the need arises.
Sarah did an amazing job with our Russell for the weekend and I would feel confident and comfortable using her services any time! Russell was having some tummy issues just before his stay, but Sarah helped us get him on a mild diet and even cooked up the food we brought for him. She sent us regular updates and it was clear that Russell was treated like part of the family during his stay. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and goes above and beyond to ensure that dogs in her care have all their needs met. An added bonus is that Russell could play with her two sweet dogs during his stay! We LOVE Sarah! ?
Sarah was great for watching our golden doodle while we were away camping. I’d 100% recommend her!

Emergency contact What vet clinic do you use? Likes and dislikes? What does your dog do around the house I should be aware of? Are healthy table scraps okay? Can my small child feed your dog? Are homemade dog cookies okay to give your dog? Where does your dog sleep? Does anything annoy your dog? Short or long walks? Can they be on the furniture, or the bed? Is he/she good for car rides? What do you absolutely not allow? What do you encourage your dog to do? If your dog is in training, I would like a written copy of the cues. I need all special needs/medication treatments written down. I do bathe dogs. Just let me know if you would like me to help you with that.
