Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover and pet caregiver since I was a small child. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, and rodents. I have a small chihuahua of my own and often foster other dogs to get them out of shelters. I have experience with dogs of all ages, and am comfortable with most breeds and sizes. I recently traveled the world using another pet and house sitting website. This gave me the chance to hang out with some of the sweetest dogs, birds, and cats in the comfort of their own homes. I loved meeting new animals and learning about what makes them special and unique. I love long walks and hikes, heading to the park, and getting out to enjoy the sunshine!

Sarah was great! She was very friendly, communicative, and flexible when our travel plans were in flux. She provided detailed reports (and great photos!) after each visit. Our cat tends to eat too quickly and become sick after and Sarah took care to break up her feedings so that there were no issues. We would definitely hire her again and would recommend her to others!

I have a spacious 3rd floor apartment that I share with two friendly cats and my mini chihuahua. We have a fenced courtyard, and there are parks and safe sidewalks nearby. In your home, I'm happy to follow whatever routine you have set out for your animals!

Prior to meeting a new dog (or other animal) it would be helpful to know if they have special needs, have any problems around other animals, and also what is their daily routine already like.
A typical day
I love coming up with enrichment activities for dogs! It could be snuffle mats and hidden treats, longer walks and "sniffaris", or fun new toys to increase their enjoyment and stimulation.

Availability
Available early mornings and in the evenings! Also work a slightly unusual schedule, so my "weekend" has some great flexibility. Happy to work around your pets' schedules as well. I prefer to bring my friendly 5-lb chihuahua for the overnight portion of house sits, pending a meet and greet with your animals ahead of time of course. She is very well-behaved and used to this, and would be separated if I leave the house.
