I would love the opportunity to take care of your little (or big) fur babies. My husband and I have two Dachshunds, Hoppy and Harley. Even though they are small, I have a lot of experience with larger dogs. While growing up, my family owned two Old English Sheepdogs, Winston and Chelsea. (We called Winston Houdini because he could balance himself on the wire fence in our backyard. It was a sight to see!) Then when I was in high school, I recieved my first pet that belonged just to me. Her name was Samantha Lynn and she was a Siamese cat. Unfortunately, while I was away at college, she passed away, and I was devastated. As I was wrapping up my senior year at Texas Tech University, my family surprised me with Tobias Alexander VII as a birthday gift. He was an AKC registered Miniature Schnauzer and Tobi was with me for 12 years, right there by my side. He was more than a dog to me; I treated him like he was my child (he was very spoiled!). In 2016, I lost my precious Tobi to cancer. I miss him every day. There are no words to describe the pain I feel from losing him. :( However, Harley and Hoppy fill my heart with warmth and love, and I am truly blessed to have them in my life. Hoppy is my "body guard" as he follows me where ever I go when I am home. Harley and Hoppy are mischievous little dogs, but that is what I love about them. Just to add a tad bit of information about myself...I am married with two beautiful stepdaughters, 20 and 17, and a handsome 10 year old son. My husband and I have been married for 13 years. I feel truly blessed to have the love and support of my husband and my children. I am also a retired teacher. I was a credit recovery teacher and I worked with each and everyone of my 800+ students (9th-12th grade). My goal was to get them to "cross that stage" and graduate. They were all high risk students, but to me, they were "my kids". I have a zest for life and I thrive on helping people. Since retiring, I now take that passion and focus it all on the animals I take care of. It would be a privilege to stay with, stop by and play with, walk, or just check in on your dog(s) and/or cat(s) when needed.
