I'm your classic girl who grew up with dogs and have loved them from a very young age. You've heard that story before but I am a bit different than your average pet sitter. Let me tell you how! I got involved with dogs at a young age. I started volunteering at a local animal shelter at the age of 16, when I legally could on my own. At the age of 18, I adopted my first dog. Her name was Dakota and was a big ball of energy, so trust me when I say understand your energetic dog. She was a vizsla and was the dog who introduced me to the world of dog ownership. I now have three rescue dogs (an American Pit Bull Terrier, a Staffordshire mix and a Labrador and Pittie mix!) and have been working in dog rescue for the past 6 years with various rescue groups. In 2012, I made the move to Nashville, TN from Mississippi and jumped into the world of pet care. I started off helping a friend taking care of various dogs. From there, I got a job working at a doggy daycare in town. I worked there for 2 years, also working closely with clients doing pet sitting and walking outside of the doggy daycare. The doggy daycare taught me many things, but most importantly I learned how to understand dogs. Working closely with dogs in large groups taught me to understand dog play and dog behavior. I have been working as a local pet sitter in Nashville now for 3 years and love all my doggy clients. I work with all dogs, sizes and breeds! I also work with cats and other critters too! I hope to meet you and your best friend soon! Overnight pet sitting: $45 per night, includes one midday visit per day. For extra visits, please add a dog walk or visit to your reservation or let me know. 30 minute dog walk: $15, includes dog walking, feeding (if needed), giving fresh water, a treat and love. 30 minute drop-by visit: $13, includes letting your dog out to potty in your yard, making sure they are fed, given fresh water and plenty of love! Best for midday visits paired with overnights, if an extra midday visit is needed. *Each rate is for all dogs in a household unless extra time is needed due to extra walks or extra attention needed for extra pets. (2 pets that can be walked together will not be charged for two pets)
