Absolute doggy and cat lover!

Pet care experience

I moved to Clearwater, FL from a farm in Tennessee where I got to spend most of my time with animals including horses, cats, and of course dogs. My first dog was a Boarder Collie and my second a German Shepherd, so I am used to keeping up with high-energy, large dogs. I am not afraid to take care of dogs such as Pit Bulls and German Shepherds since I grew up with those types of dogs. I don't have a dog in my life so I have a lot of love to give to your dog and learn their individual needs also since I don’t have a dog of my own your dog will be able to enjoy a relaxing time without the added stress of other dogs around. I am a stay at home mom and this is my full time job so your dog will never be alone. My husband, baby, and I live in a house located in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in backyard. I understand how important our animal companions are to us and value keeping your pet safe. No one knows a dog like their human so I want to take whatever time is needed to get to know both you and your pet for the best experience possible. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!

Sarah is wonderful! I have an Australian Shepherd that can be shy and picky about people, but she loved Sarah and her family immediately. It is clear that she is comfortable and happy with them. Sarah is obviously very caring and responsible. She is also super sweet and communicative. Thank you, Sarah, for being so great! We look forward to more future stays.

This was my first Rover experience, and I knew immediately that my dog would be in great care with Sarah and her family. I loved the photos Sarah sent throughout the weekend to help me feel even more at ease. Lillian came home happy, well exercised, and ready for the biggest nap! Thank you so much!

Sarah and her husband are very sweet. She is always cheerful and happy. She takes very good care of our doggie, and we can tell he feels very comfortable with her, and at home at her house.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced in backyard where I can let your dog out into as often as needed. I don’t just turn your dog into the backyard without keeping an eye on them because the last thing I would want is for them to dig out. Your dog will have lots of company during the day with fun interaction with my two year old but it is all watched play. I never leave my child alone with your dog so you don’t have to worry about him being mean to your dog. I have baby gates up so when I can’t watch their interaction your dog is safe on their side of the house. Safety for your dog and my child is very important for me so I try my hardest to provide a safe and fun environment.

Information Sarah B. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog gets along with kids? If your dog gets along with cats? If they would be ok being in half of the house?

A typical day

A typical day is based on what kind of dog I have I don’t believe in one day fits all dogs. If your dog is less energetic I will let them outside in the backyard yet if your dog loves to play we will play ball and go for walks. I am at home almost all the time so your dogs outside needs will be filled to whatever level that your dog needs. I believe in getting to know what your dog likes and trying to copy that in my day to make your dog feel at home.

Availability

I am a stay at home mom so your pet will be around people all day. Your dog fits right into my daily care routine. Your dog has access to half of the house so you don’t have to stress about your dog not getting a chance to rest because I understand that a two year old can be tiring even to the best of dogs. Your dogs comfort is my top goal!
