I've had at least one dog in the house my entire life and I've never met a dog I didn't like! I've dog sat all age ranges from puppy-senior, both day and overnight visits. I love to walk or run with dogs and really enjoy being active outside. I also have a dog named Millie who is a 7 year old lab/boxer mix, she gets along very well with other dogs and would be more than happy to come along if your dog needs someone to play with. Currently living in old SW Roanoke so I’m close to just about everything including the greenway and mill mountain. I’m available most weekends/evenings for walks or overnight care and I potentially will have some week day or holiday availability.

Sarah is an excellent dog sitter! She is very responsible and was in constant communication with us on updates for our 2 dogs. She was willing to stay at our house and give our pups plenty of play time each day. When we came home our dogs looked better than when we left! I would recommend her to EVERYBODY looking for a dog sitter, she is simply the best!
Sarah is a responsible, fun and loving dog sitter. My dog loves hanging out with Sarah. She takes her on long walks which my dog loves. I know she's being well taken care of when she's with Sarah!

I do not have any specific breed preferences. Before sitting for a dog I mostly just like to know how active they typically are, their feeding times/amounts, where they like to sleep, and if they are okay to roam the house unsupervised or if they need to be crated/restricted to a certain area. Any habits or tendencies unique to your dog are also great information to have!
A typical day
walks, dog park, I'm open to anything fun! Depending on your dog's energy needs we can go on anywhere from 1-4 30/60 minute walks per day. I love taking my dog to wissahickon park or on the schuylkill river trail for long walks in the woods - and both of these places are an easy walk from my house! If your dog enjoys socializing we can also take trips to the dog play area located in pretzel park just a few blocks from my house! I do a lot of work from home and am available most of the day to supervise and entertain any dogs staying with me!
