I am a long-time animal lover and can’t wait to help you and your pet! I have raised a puppy of my own, as well as pet sit for dogs and cats of all sizes and needs. I am experienced with providing medication, snuggles, and ample exercise and play time. I happily watch animals in my own home, provide drop-in visits, and walks (for dogs) alike. I look forward to providing care to your fur baby when you are in need!

Sarah is incredibly responsible and reliable and we were able to call on her to help us out at the drop of a hat. We had left to go on vacation and had left our two Maine Coon cats at the breeder. One of our cats, was not doing very well and Sarah called every day to check on her, get an update, and make sure she was as comfortable as possible. Ultimately, with Sarah's guidance, Sarah went and picked her up and cared for her in the last few days of our vacation so that our cat could be in the comfort of her own home. We can't thank her enough for taking care of our sweet girl!

I just always like a little background on the ins and outs, likes and dislikes, to best accommodate your pup. I usually have dog treats around, but particularly if you have any food preferences for your pet, I like to know that so that I can best mimic their everyday life while you are away.
A typical day
I live in a pet friendly building right across from Lincoln Park. I love to go for walks along the lake, curl up by the tv, and play with all your pets favorite toys. I like to let your pet set the tone, and match them where they are at. From play time to snuggle time, I am up for anything!

Availability
I work from home with a flexible schedule. Aside from work meetings, I can accommodate visits throughout the day, and I am very used to a mid-day animal break. Given that I work from home, you can rest assured that your pet will never be alone for more than a quick errand (an hour or less) on any given day during their stay.
