I grew up with dogs, and I have been pet-sitting for friends and family since I was 18. I love animals and live an active lifestyle; I'm happy to take your dogs on long walks or runs, and play fun games of tug-o-war and fetch! I also love giving extra pets and snuggles so they feel loved when their human family is away.

Sara has taken care of my cat, Ginger, for the last year and a half. I’m been so happy that when I leave Ginger for a long trip or even just a weekend away, she is left in very good hands with Sara. I know Ginger will be well taken care of. Sara spends time with Ginger so she’s not as lonely while I’m gone. Sara is also very responsive in sending me photos of Ginger while I’m away. In summary, I highly recommend Sara to take care of your furry loved one!
Sara did a great job taking care of our dog and 2 cats for a week last spring. Tank can be rather intimidating, by barking for awhile every time a new person comes inside. Sara handled it with patience and he adjusted to her quickly. We have already booked her for our next spring trip and would recommend her.
Sara stayed with our 8 year old golden retriever for 10 days…..took fabulous care of him and he was a tad more spoiled(if possible)! She stayed and house sat too. Very responsible and respectful of our home and exceptional care of Cooper….looking forward to having Sara house/pet sit in near future.
Sara is the most kind and caring pet setter I've ever had! I have two cats, Rain who usually takes ages to warm up to anyone new, and Gracie, who has a multitude of heath issues due to cancer. Sara gave Gracie her medicine and the care she needed while we were gone, and made Rain feel less anxiety. We have called her several times and Rain is now way less upset when we leave to go on trips. I'd definitely recommend Sara for anyone who's looking for a pet sitter, she rocks!

When I care for pets in my clients/ homes, I try to stick to their typical routine so they are the most comfortable. I have administered oral medications and always set timers on my phone as backup to ensure it's given at the same time each day. I am also very comfortable with dogs and cats wanting to share the bed with me at night if that is what they are used to! Additionally, I take care to clean up and leave the home exactly as I found it so the homeowners can come home to a tidy house.

Let me know if your pet takes any medication or has any specific behaviours on walks that I need to know, as in if they lounge at people or other dogs, or if it's okay to approach other people or dogs on walks. Additionally, knowing their tendencies around food, their favourite toys/games, and when they are normally fed are things I like to know about ahead of time.
A typical day
I love to stimulate the dogs both mentally and physically. Playing chase, tug-o-war, and with toys inside is a typical rainy day activity, whereas long walks or runs are my go to for sunny days/nicer weather. Lots of belly rubs and snuggles too!

I am a tennis coach, so I have lots of flexibility with my schedule and plenty of free time to spend with your pup. (And lots of extra tennis balls to play with!) When I know I am petsitting, I can move my lesson times around to be more accommodating for your pet's typical schedule.
