Pet care experience
I have owned my dog, Hazel, for 9 years who currently lives with my parents in NJ. My family and I trained her to be a therapy dog as young as 1 years old! I have extensive experience in training not only puppies but teaching discipline to older dogs as well. I am a very active person which means I love going on walks, playing with your pup, going on runs, and just keeping your dog fit and active. I am an avid animal lover and animal rights activist. My priority is to keep your dog safe, happy, and active to give you peace of mind that your fur baby is being taken care of well.

Whether it’s in your home or mine, your pet will be looked after and cared for with the upmost importance. Your pet’s safety and happiness is my biggest priority no matter what the environment. As a pet owner myself, I understand the stress leaving your best friend with another person can cause. I find the best thing to do for pets in these situations is so make the transition as smooth as possible. That means I will try to mimic your lifestyle at home with mine. This makes your pet more comfortable and therefore ease your stress.

A typical day
With dogs, my favorite activities are to play fetch, tug-a-war, go for runs, play with the hose (if the dog likes water), and play with any of their favorite toys. Across the street from my house is a wonderful field with lots of room to play with your pup and let them sniff around the new area.

Availability
I am a college student living off-campus in a house. I am rarely not home due to the majority of my classes being online. The longest I would ever be away is for about two hours. I am up early in the morning so I will be able to feed your pet at their usual feeding time. On weekends, I enjoy going for hikes or runs which I would love to take your pet on as well. Generally, my schedule is very flexible and I will try my absolute best to cater to you and your pets’ needs. I am a college student that will be home for the summer. I have a generally very flexible schedule. I have a second job that does not provide many hours making me available for animal care.
