I've grown up with dogs but don't have my own dog right now so I would love to take care of yours like they're my own! I am very flexible in my care and will follow whatever is best for your pup (a run around the neighborhood, only one walk a day and lots of naps, hikes in the area, obedience lessons, lots of attention, etc.). I am working from home, so you can rest assured that your pet will not be left alone for more than a few hours. Additionally, we have a patio and there is a park steps away from my apartment, making exercise and outdoor time very accessible! I've now had several years of experience on Rover and have been exposed to many breeds, needs, and personalities. Before that, I've always had dogs in my life (3-4 in my house at a time growing up and never the same breed!). I've had dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and backgrounds so I feel fully comfortable with handling any dog. Growing up, the best present I ever received was a puppy. I was his primary caregiver, training him completely (house-training, leash training, playing hide-and-seek, crawling, you name it!). I also learned how to administer oral medication to dogs in his old age. I also have a medical background so I am comfortable giving shots or providing other medical care needs.
