Pet care experience
I absolutely love all dogs of any size, breed, or age. I grew up with a family dog Dixie, who was an English Springer Spaniel. I then went on to rescue my own pup Tanner and we have spent the last three years having the time of our life together. I’ve helped out with my friends and family’s dogs and cats for several years.

Sarah has taken care of our Pug, Buddy. Buddy is a senior dog with senior dog problems such as hip dysplasia and limited senses. Also, as a pug, he can easily overheat, especially in Georgia summers. She was amazing with him. She helped him up and down stairs, limited his outside time, got him to potty, gave him his food with meds, and topped of his water. Buddy loves her and gets so excited to see her.

A typical day
I’m a huge fan of going to the local parks around Athens with some nice paved trails. I use to take my dog on long walks at the North Oconee River Greenway over off exit 8. It’s very peaceful and not overstimulating for dogs with tons of people and other animals running around. I would love to get to play a game of fetch in a private gated dog area, such as the ones you can get at Sandy Creek if you have a hyper pup who needs to burn some energy. Whatever your dogs needs are, I am happy to accommodate!

Availability
I work full time, but have open availability on the weekends and would love to help you out by taking your sweet pup for a fun walk, dropping by to check on them and tend to their needs, or even doggy day care at my apartment. During the weekdays I do not get home until 6pm typically and on weekends I go to my parents for Sunday dinner typically from 2-7pm
