Hi, I’m Sara! I’m a 20 y/o 3rd year Biopsychology student at Mills College. I have a sweet 7 y/o pitbull named Sugar that I’ve had for 3 years and have lived with dogs for about 8 years and cats for 5 (I'm also experienced taking care of large terrarium/fish tanks). I’ve pet-sat for many friends and family and have a wide range of experience with all kinds of puppy personalities. I live right at the base of a hiking trail so I’m always game to take long walks, runs or just throw a ball around for a while. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am able to spend long hours with your dog(s) including overnight stays up to a week long. I can accommodate special diets, disabilities and if your dog is generally calm I can give baths if they are muddy. I do not currently have a car so if a nature walk is what you have in mind, you will need to drop your puppy off with me and pick them up sometime soon afterwards. The longest walk I can do is 3 hours. If I will be walking a dog near my own home and you would like to leave your dog in my care for longer than that, I’d happily entertain your pup for a few hours more in my home as long as they are okay with my calm and friendly pit Sugar, do not have any tendencies to pee inside, and don’t chew furniture. I’m happy to give your dog a gentle bath or wipe down if they get muddy and they seem willing. If you prefer a trail walk but not to go inside after, I'm happy to find a bench and dog-sit outside with a toy and water :).
