About Oggy

Oggy is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. He is shy of people at first, but hasn't met a dog or cat that he doesn't love yet! He loves to play, but also knows how to take a hint and leave a dog alone if he/she doesn't want to play. Oggy does very well with dogs in our home. He spends part of his time with them playing and interracting, and part of his time taking a nap and ignoring humans and dogs alike.

  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 7 years, 2 mo. old
  • Weight: 24lbs
  • Breed: Scottish Terrier
  • Tracking Chip: Yes
  • Neutered: True
  • House Trained: Yes
  • Gets along with children: Yes
He gets along with children as long as they know to give him his space and not pull his tail.
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
Sometimes, Oggy gets a little overwhelmed and will find a place out of the way to just be by himself. If other dogs are harassing him, we just put him in a room by himself (this is what he wants) and he takes a nap until he is refreshed and ready to interact again.
  • Gets along with cats: Yes

About Bruiser

Bruiser may have a tough name, but he's more of a Princess! He is a neutered male, up to date on all vaccines. He LOVES all people, and pretends like we don't love him at all whenever he meets a new person! He gets along well with other dogs, as long as they do not instigate a fight with him. He is most content just to lay around and get belly rubs.

  • Sex: Male
  • Age: 12 years, 2 mo. old
  • Weight: 24lbs
  • Breed: Boston Terrier
  • Tracking Chip: Yes
  • Neutered: True
  • House Trained: Yes
Bruiser is housetrained, but if not let out every few hours, sometimes he will poop in the basement or pee on a curtain or plastic bag. Not sure why, because he CAN hold it.
  • Gets along with children: Yes
Bruiser LOVES children, especially licking their faces. However, he does not have manners, and can easily bowl over small children, so don't get him riled up and running around them if possible.
  • Gets along with other dogs: Yes
Bruiser does well with other dogs, but he has a bad habit of snapping at them if they are bigger than him. He doesn't bite, exactly, but he will snap at their faces and walk away like he "showed them who's boss". It's a dominance thing that he quits doing after the first day of knowing a dog.
  • Gets along with cats: No
Bruiser has been around cats, but he can be a meanie! Not a good fit.

Special Requirements

When picking bruiser up, please follow directions that we show you. He has Spondylosis in his lower spine and while it usually doesn't show, improper picking up can make him scream.
