We are a family that loves dogs but have decided to take care of others instead of having our own! We have many years of experience. We only take 1 dog at a time (so factor that into your rate), so your dog will be king/queen of our house. Our daughter is 10 and has been around dogs since she was born. This summer she was trained by the Humane Society in Wisconsin how to care for all animals. She loves dogs and is not a typical kid when it comes to animals! We have taken care of many different little dogs: we love having dogs in our house and will treat them as honored guests. Both my husband and I have grown up with dogs and we are a family of walkers. I am a full-time middle school science teacher, our daughter goes to school all day, but my husband works varied hours and your precious pup will not be home alone for more than 4 hours (if he is in town, confirm he will be there if your pup can't be home alone for 8 hours). We are in a condo, so realize that your dog should not be a crazy barker and should be fully potty trained. If your dog has accidents, we would ask that they are diapered. We also would love if your dog does not shed (a lot), if your dog is a crazy sheder, sadly, please find a different home.
