Pet care experience
Hey! I’m Sara. I’m a yoga instructor and fellow dog mom. I worked for Rover for many years before taking a break towards the end of Covid. I miss meeting new animals, and just moved to Portland. I thought it would be a lovely way to see a new city. Your best friend is my number one priority; I know exactly what it means to be a pet parent. You love them just like your own kids, and leaving them in the hands of a stranger can be tough. My pup Banjo is my world. He’s a perfect companion to both humans and dogs alike, so your dog will have an instant BFF with him. He will keep up with high-energy dogs, cuddle up with couch potato dogs, and/or calm down nervous dogs (he’s really good at that!). If you’re on vacation, the last thing you want to worry about is your fuzzy friend. I provide daily updates with photos of your dogs stay, and try my best to reply to messages ASAP. Banjo and I look forward to meeting you! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me for your questions or concerns.
Reviews
We love Sara, she’s the best dog sitter you could ask for
Sara was amazing with my dog. She sent photos of him, and I could tell he was having a blast. Her pup definitely made mine feel at home.
Sara is outstanding, highly recommended

I no longer offer doggy daycare in my own home, but I am happy to provide walks or just let your dogs outside if needed. I would love to help in any way I can.

Information Sara G. would like to know about your pet
Your dog must be up to date on vaccinations. If your dog has medications (eye drops, topical ointments/sprays, pills etc.) that need to be administered, that’s okay! Please provide typed or written instructions along with each prescription. I do not give vaccines because I am not properly trained to do so.
A typical day
I no longer accept new dogs for daycare, but walks are always open for new pups. Depending on the pace of your dog, we can take a long leisurely walk in your neighborhood or get out some wiggles at a nearby park. As the owner, you let me know what you prefer.

Availability
I currently have four cats and two dogs, so animals are my life. I work from home and make my own schedule, so I am very open to helping my neighbors who have their fur babes at home. Whether it’s a potty break, a walk in your neighborhood, or just quick but necessary check-in, I’m here for you.
