Pet care experience
Now accepting new clients. Can only take small dogs at this time. All dogs must be ok with children and other dogs. Dogs are a member of the family and that's how yours will be treated when vacationing with us. Safety is my number one concern. We do have a fenced in yard, but they will never be unmonitored. If you'd prefer to always have your dog on leash I can accommodate that. I have strict leash rules on walks and do not allow any dogs to be off-leash unless fenced in. I do not take boarding clients on walks unless requested. My home also has baby gates for extra safety. There are currently 2 dogs in our household. I have owned dogs my entire life, and have been pet sitting for over 15 years. I have been sitting on Rover since 2014. I have experience with dogs of all ages and varied health problems. I also have experience with "shy" dogs and have taken training courses in this area. I have a toddler at home who has grown up around dogs and knows how to act around them. I do send pictures every stay. I will not take any dogs that are not fixed, not house broken, or not vaccinated. No exceptions.

Wonderful very nice and sweet family
Sara was great with our little puppy. He loved having her come play with him while we were out of the house. Very easy to work with and respectful of our home. Followed our instructions and our puppy looks forward to her visiting again!

I know what it's like to have an escape artist, a shy dog, a dog with anxiety, and a medically complex dog. I take safety and care very seriously. I go outside with the dogs when let out back and I check my fence daily for potential cracks (when you have a 9lb escape artist that's mandatory). Food time is always supervised and I give every dog their own space to eat. I cannot do free feedings in this house because my dogs will eat the food.

All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, a copy of the form from your vet may be required. Can show proof of my dog's vaccinations on request. Dogs should be friendly with adults, kids, and other dogs (or at least not vicious). Question's I'll ask: How is your dog with other dogs? How is your dog with kids? Any food aggression towards dogs or humans? Any toy aggression? Any health problems I should be aware of? Where do they like to sleep?
A typical day
Walks by request will be around the neighborhood. Otherwise we will be in the backyard. We can play with toys, snuggle up on the couch, run around the yard. I let the personality of the dog set the tone.

Availability
I am a full time Mom who works part time in the evening. Someone is always home during the week. My husband also works from home and takes care of the dogs when I'm out for errands. He's been dogsitting with me since I started on Rover and has received the same training as me.
