Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Sara and it would be my honor to take care of your pet! Over the course of my life, my family has included 7 dogs, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs, 7 fish, and a hamster. We have also fostered over 15 dogs, including 2 litters of newborn puppies. So, I know how to take care of the youngest, and the oldest pets. I also know how much your pets mean to you and your family, so I promise to take care of your pets as if they were my own. I am an athlete and a book lover, so I can take your dog on a run at the park or I can cuddle up with your cat on a couch for storytime and scratches. Whatever you want for your pet is the care that they will get! I also have a service dog who is amazing at reading other dogs' needs and would be thrilled to spend time with your pets or take a nap at home. Tommy is a Canine Good Citizen and has been trained by me to fulfill his task and public access training as a service dog.

Sara is an animal lover plain and simple. I’ve know her for her entire life and she has always had at least 1 cat and 2 dogs in her home - all truly a part of her family. Most recently, she spent some time with my family who just got a new puppy and she cared for her as if she were her own with walks, special attention, training time, and love. I’d highly recommend her as a pet sitter for whatever pet may be your fur baby!
Sara was wonderful with our puppy! It was clear she has lots of experience with young dogs and helped reinforce the puppy training we’ve been working on. Sara played/exercised Lola and worked out lots of puppy energy - a tired dog is a good dog. We loved the pics Sara took so we could see how much fun they had. We can’t wait to have Sara back again!!
Sara has an incredible and natural way with dogs. She is the first to be gentle and provide loving hugs and scratches, but also knows when to be firm and in command. Sara will truly treat your dogs as if they are her own!

Depending on how your pets are with other dogs and how comfortable you are having another dog in your home, I can spend time with them alone, or with my dog as well. Unfortunately, my apartment cannot accommodate having your pets come to stay with me, but I have a roommate so Tommy would be able to stay with her while I care for your best friends.
Information Sara B. would like to know about your pet
For me, the most important thing to know is if they have any health conditions that I need to be aware of, along with their vet's information. Additionally, I need to know if they are dog/human reactive, not only because I have a dog, but because I need to know how to approach situations in which we are around other people. I am able to manage reactivity, as I help my parents work on their Great Dane's reactivity using positive reinforcement.
A typical day
Normally, Tommy and my days consist of breakfast and a short 30-min morning walk, then school, and an afternoon adventure (a longer decompression hike on a long line or to the dog park). While at school, I make sure to schedule my courses so as to have breaks in between classes to go on walks and play, so I am able to make it to take your dog on walks on my breaks.

I am a student with a service dog, so taking care of him and school are my full-time 'jobs'. But, we would love to have another tag along on our adventures!
