We have fostered dogs through (PAWS/OTAT) and I work with animals for a living. We have fostered/watched dogs from 6 weeks old puppies to blind seniors and have several regular dogs we watch in the neighborhood. There isn't anything we haven't encountered! I'm knowledgeable/comfortable with medications, if needed, and training techniques. We live near a park and gated yards. Third floor living so the dog must be comfortable with climbing stairs (unless they are little enough that We can pick them up!) We also have an amazing porch for the dog to hang out on- All dogs love the porch. We are up early- 5 AM and always on the go so the puppers are always worn out at the end of the day. I like to enforce good behavior with treats and praise- lots of treats!. When taking care of your pup We treat them as they are our pup so your dog better like cuddling! :) If your pup is able to come with us they won't be left at home- great dog friendly coffee-shop and stores in the area. Summertime is patio time and trips to the lakefront if allowed! We would love to meet your baby- looking forward to hearing from you. ** Dogs up to/around 50lbs- our apartment is on the smaller side! ** We can sit your 2 dogs if they are small (under 20 lbs each). I was nervous about my dog staying with a stranger for the first time but Sara immediately put my mind at ease. She kept me updated with pics multiple times a day and I could tell that he loved her right away. Will definitely rebook with her whenever I need it.

Sara was very accommodating for our last-minute rush to find a sitter. As first-time users of Rover, Sara made the entire experience a breeze by welcoming our little dachshund as her own. Such as bringing him along for outside excursions, snapping adorable moments, & an open space policy for cuddles. ????

I am on the third floor and have a fenced porch as well as a courtyard. Dogs are never left unattended when out of apartment. I have a 30 ft long leash for “free roaming” and playing fetch so your dog will feel free but still safe and enjoy their time.

A typical day
I have routes planned out depending on distance and there are parks at the end of my street, dog parks also if allowed. If the weather is nice sitting out at a cafe. There is a dog friendly coffeeshop near me so your dog will not be tied up outside. I like to take dogs to activities- be it outdoor movies, dining, run errands in dog friendly stores- if your pup doesn't need to be left at home they won't be! By the end of the stay your dog will know all the routes that lead to the stores with treats!
