Hello! My name is Sara and I am a HUGE dog lover and a professional dog trainer! I have two rescue dogs myself and they are my whole world! I love them so much and I am so thankful for every day I get to spend with them! I have a deep and natural understanding with dogs and all animals. I have trained many dogs and I have fully trained my dog Lily. She has passed the Canine Good Citizen exam (beginning, intermediate, and advanced), has received multiple trick dog titles, has competed in agility, passed the Therapy Dog exam, and I have trained Lily to be a fully working service dog for medical alert and response. I have trained many, many dogs. I’m very experienced with teaching a dog from the ground up. I’ve worked with 8 week old puppies to 11 year old dogs. From 7 pound chihuahuas to 140 pound Newfoundlands. From dogs who just need a brush up on obedience to reactive and aggressive dogs. I truly believe that no dog is too old to learn new tricks and any bad behavior can be altered with enough time, attention, consistency, and of course effort! Through Rover, I mainly train dogs how to walk on a leash and how to have focus while outside. I also work with reactive dogs and work with them to be non-reactive on leash. If you would like me to work with your dog, please let me know! I do not charge extra to train with the dog because not only does it make the dog’s life (and your life!) better, it makes the dog walking experience for me better as well. Plus, I actually really do love to work with and train dogs. I love seeing their progress and watching them become more confident and comfortable! Throughout my whole life, I have volunteered at animal shelters and vet offices as well as worked for a professional dog walking company and doggie day care in Vienna, Austria. I was even the founder and president of the "Animal Care Club" (where we raised money for local animal shelters and educated people about proper and humane animal care) at my junior high and high school and ran the club for 5 years! I am extremely patient, strong and knowledgeable about all different dog breeds and their needs. I understand that every dog is special and may have different emotional, physical or medical needs. I am able to administer medicine or tend to a special needs dog with ease and kindness. I work from home so I am able to spend tons and tons of time with your pup! I am more than happy to send you photos, videos and updates on how your dog is doing! I am so excited to meet you and your dog and make his/her day with a fantastic walk, visit or stay!
