Pet care experience
I would be overjoyed to keep your pet company while you’re away! I’m happy to stroll around the neighborhood, toss around toys, or snuggle up inside. I’m adaptable to different personalities of dogs and cats. I’m very patient and non-intimidating with anxious animals. I can accommodate different needs like medical instructions or special care for elderly pets. I especially love caring for puppies + kittens! I’ve always loved to spend time around animals. I find it therapeutic to care for pets and walking a dog is healthy motivation to get outside. I have been pet sitting on and off since middle school and I’ve been using Rover on and off since before the pandemic in 2019. I enjoy getting to know wonderfully unique animals, whether they are immediately trusting or more shy. I know from being a pet owner that it means a lot to trust someone else to care for your pet. I have personal experience from taking care of my own rabbit, cat, and pygmy hedgehogs. You can rest assured your pets are in good hands since I am dependable and punctual, and will keep you updated with photos and more as often as you wish. I’m happy to schedule a meet & greet for you and your dog/cat to feel more comfortable. I love animals and will do my absolute best to keep your pet healthy and happy. Sara was incredible! Our pup is a bit of a handful, but Sara managed him perfectly and took great care of our cat while we were away for over a week. We were able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing that Sara was holding down the fort with our four legged babies at home. Thank you, Sara!
Sara was an incredible sitter and caretaker for our Duck toller puppy when she was 16 weeks old. She facilitated potty training and crate training and spent a lot of time playing with our energetic, young pup. She also took great care of our apartment while she stayed. Sara is very trustworthy and responsive, and we highly recommend her for anyone looking to have a puppy sitter stay in their home.
Sara took excellent care of my elderly mixed-breed Labrador, Cooper. Despite short notice of a last minute trip away, Sara made time to come to my place on the UES for a meet and greet prior to coming to stay. She was punctual, prepared, and professional. She asked great questions about Cooper’s schedule and habits. She was attentive, concerned and compassionate. Sara provided daily photos of my dog with text updates. She responded to me promptly via text during my time away. She maintained open lines of communication throughout her time caring for Cooper. I will seek Sara out again for my next trip away. (With only selfish hesitation because I want her available for my pup), I highly recommend for you to do so, as well!
Sara was great with our 2 kittens. She took such good care of them while we were away, sent lots of pictures throughout so we could see what they were up to, and that made us feel much better. Matilda and Chips loved her - we’ll definitely reach out the next time we’re away!
