Pet care experience
My family got our first dog when I was 13 and I instantly fell in love with dogs. Since then I have been happily watching the dogs of both family and people I’ve met through work. I have experience with dogs ranging in all sizes and attitudes. I currently dog sit for an elderly pug and a French bulldog who needs to have meds in the morning so I have some experience with special needs. I am also a lover of physical activity, huge fan of afternoon walks or morning runs if that’s what your fur baby needs!

I feel very lucky to have Sara as my pet sitter. Libby, my little Chiweenie dog, is very shy and picky about people as she is a rescue dog. Sara is patient and calm. She won over Libby’s heart and I can go on trips knowing she is safe and happy.

I have a larger house, a modern house in the woods I call it. Plenty of places for walks, very quiet with neighbors who usually keep to themselves. I do have cats, but they like to be outside most of the time and stay away if there’s a dog around.

I like to know everything about a dog before, anything that you feel is important so that the dog is as comfortable as possible during my stay. It can be hard for dogs when their owner leaves, let me know what I can do to cheer them up and distract them. A meeting before is ALWAYS helpful!
A typical day
Wherever you pup is comfortable! Go to the park, walk around the neighborhood, whatever your doggie likes. I love going on morning runs

Availability
I currently have a part time position as an activity associate at a local country club. I am also a licensed Phlebotomy tech and have a night time on call position. My country club job is mostly of Saturday’s from 9-2, with the occasional 9-5, and sometimes I have to go in on Wednesday’s for an afternoon event. I am an on-call phlebotomist for Placer County jail, but I very seldom get calls especially now that summer is over.
