Hi, My family loves dogs! I grew up with pets and would often dog and cat sit for friends and family in my younger days. We finally took the leap to adopt a puppy 2 years ago and found our dog Roux through a local rescue site. We take Roux everywhere we can, she is a part of our family and enjoys camping, walks, naps, kids, and dog parks. While learning how to train a puppy and raise a good dog, we realized how important socialization with other dogs is and sought out new dog friends right away. We are lucky enough to live on a double lot with a fenced in yard, so we found that we had a good space for doggy play dates and taking care of friends dogs when they are out of town. We realized this is something we love to do and since we started working from home indefinitely, it seemed like a great idea to sign up for Rover. We have used the site in the past and I know how much thought and worry goes into choosing the right place for your pup; we want to be the right home for you. Roux is very friendly and energetic, as are my boys who are 9 and 6. We love walks, dog parks, adventures, and cuddles. Your dog will get a lot of attention and love when they stay with us, we will treat them as part of our family. Unless otherwise agreed upon, we keep our dog friends to one visitor (unless they are from the same household) at a time. We are operating as a home and want your dog (and ours) to feel comfortable and attended to. Please reach out with any questions at all! Our dog Roux is energetic and friendly, I have seen her be both dominant and submissive with other dogs while playing.
