I have mainly had small dogs (although I've always wanted a big dog as well). Every dog is different honestly, I would feed them only what you feed them, I would walk them as many times as you see fit, but I would give them as much attention as they need. I think it's important to give them an environment where they feel comfortable and loved. I would treat them like they were my own.
