STAY AT HOME DOG-MOM! FENCED YARD!
Pet care experience
I am a stay-at-home mom (home all day) to two school-aged kids (son is 13, daughter is 17) and a sweet 5 year old gentle giant pup! While my kids are at school, I love to spend time training, socializing, grooming, playing and cuddling with my dog! I would love to extend that time, love, and care to your dogs, too! I’ve have loved, owned, trained dogs for most of my life, been involved with different area rescues/fosters, and I am certified by Red Cross in Pet First Aid and CPR. I am a former Fairfax County Public Schools elementary school teacher turned stay-at-home mom since my kids were born. I still love learning and teaching, but have turned my attention to learning about dogs and teaching them! I trained my current dog to pass her AKC Canine Good Citizen test, AKC Community Canine test, and the Therapy Dog Certification Test! I now have my eye on teaching her to be a “drafting” dog (cart pulling) and to do scent detection. When your dog is in my care, your dog will get lots of attention, walks, playtime, treats, and love and you’ll get lots of updates with pictures and videos sent to your phone throughout the day! Your dog will be right at home here in my house playing with toys, chewing on treats, and snuggling on the couch (snuggles are my favorite part of the day)! We have a tidy, fenced backyard for potty breaks and running loose! We go out on walks, twice daily, rain or shine; Basic training is a natural part of each day. Are you working on any training? Sang is the best choice when you need a dog sitter! She is extremely involved and provides you with pictures and videos the entire stay. My girls start getting excited as soon as we get into Sang’s neighborhood and always come home tired and well-behaved :) definitely recommend!!!
Sang, Kyira and her family are great. Sang provided exceptional care for my 2 year old rottie pup. I trust her wholeheartedly with my dog. I was nervous leaving my huge playful pup, but Sang was able to ease my nerves with tons of photos and text, which I appreciated VERY much. Theodore will be going back, especially because he was so happy there. I was able to see the joy in his eyes through all the photos I received. Thank you Sang and Kyira!!

My home environment can be adjusted as needed for each individual dog. Dogs that need more supervision will stay in a smaller area with me (living room/kitchen) and dogs that need less supervision are free to have full access to my home and yard (we can discuss your needs at the Meet and Greet). I have a backyard with a 6 ft tall privacy fence all around. Sleeping arrangements for boarding dogs can be accommodated to meet your dogs individual needs.
Information Sang I. would like to know about your pet
Prefer breeds with shortcoat, smooth coats, or hypoallergenic as my son has allergies to downy or long fluffy coats, like German Shepherds. But all breeds would be considered. Your dog must be friendly to children as we often have several over our house to play. Your dog also must be friendly with other dogs. Please alert me if your dog resource guards or has any “triggers” (i.e. thunder, traffic, bikes, etc) or has any allergies. Spayed/Neutered dogs only unless they are young puppies.

Availability
I am home all day, every day! I can accommodate your dogs routine: potty breaks, meal times, walk, and sleep schedules and incorporate training time if that is something you are working on, otherwise basic skills training is built in as a natural part of the day (sit before being fed, wait at doors before going out, etc).
