Sandy was amazing. From coordination prior to our departure to staying with our dogs until return, I felt my dogs were well cared for the entire time. She sent us updates daily. Having that security is beyond any cost. Sandy was amazing. We will use her again and again,

Sandy was wonderful! Our 9-year-old dachshund loved her. She was accommodating to all of our little one's special needs, including letting her snuggle on the sofa, giving her access to a window "lookout" space so she could satisfy her need to survey the neighborhood, letting her sleep in bed with her, etc. Our pup is a picky eater, and we knew Sandy made her feel happy and comfy because she actually ate her food (she ...

Mature & Special Needs Dogs Welcome

I love ALL dogs, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs who are more mature or need a little extra TLC. My cocker spaniel Luna passed away in 2013. She was going on 18, so it was her time. As she aged, we still enjoyed a happy life with accommodations along the way during the aging process. These experiences give me the ability to recognize when a dog needs something extra ...

What Sandy would like to know about your dog

Your dog is a beloved member of your family. When s/he is in my care, I want to provide that love and comfort as well. I will ask you a list of questions about her/his routine - food & water, "bathroom" breaks, medications, exercise patterns, what's allowed and what's not (on furniture, "people food", etc.). Be sure to provide their beloved toys, bedding, doggie treats - whatever will make their stay with me as enjoyable as possible.

When Sandy watches your pet

I want to make your dog(s) as happy as possible while in my care. You tell me what your pooch loves - and what s/he doesn't like so much! - so I can make them feel loved, comfortable, and secure. I love to give hugs, kisses, belly rubs, and scratches behind the ears. We will take walks in the park that abuts my back yard. There are plenty of living room windows in my home for your dog to watch the world go by. I personalize ("dog-a-lize"?) my care routine to best care for your pooch.
