Send Your Doggo to Camp Sandy!

Pet care experience

Dogs have played a central role in my family for most of my life. I've been working with Rover for several years now, and have really enjoyed the challenge! Each dog's personality requires time and attention to develop a relationship, and I am proud that dogs we host tend to be super comfortable with us; some even RUNNING into our home when they arrive! :) My own dogs passed away almost ten years ago now, so my husband and I are happy to host yours. in 2000, I adopted a five-year-old beagle-shepherd mix who had been used as bait in the fighting rings. Her boundless and unconditional love for eleven years never ceased to amaze. Caring for your pets would be an honor for me. I do expect that they have decent manners (no eating furniture and potty trained) and, in exchange, I will love them up and keep them safe when you are traveling or otherwise unavailable. I give your pet almost 24-7 attention and sometimes do some basic training with dogs. In a few instances, I have taken clients' dogs to weekly training classes as well (you have to do the homework, though!). I do charge a little more than average, and guarantee boutique-level care.

Sandy was the best Sitter we've ever had. We were kept updated on how he was doing daily. Sometimes twice a day. We felt so comfortable after Sandy sent the first few pictures. Bruce is the most easiest dog to love and Sandy voice her concerns about his not wanting to eat and how he loves to cuddle and his insistence on daily head rubs. I suggest you book with Sandy. You will not regret it!!!

Sandy was great, she was sweet and kind, I could tell Jax was comfortable with her as soon as we arrived. She sent us consistent photo updates which really put me at ease on my trip knowing he was in good hands and having the best time!
