Pet care experience
I’ve been a cat owner my entire life, but then my husband finally convinced me to get a dog. That’s when Emmy entered my life. She is a Black Lab/Bernese Mountain dog. I don’t know how I ever lived without the love, playfulness and faithfulness of a dog. Becoming a pet sitter on Rover.com has been the most rewarding experience I could ever imagine. Emmy and I LOVE all our new friends, both canine and human alike! And we can’t wait to have you enter our circle of friends as well!

Cannot say enough great things about Sandy!! She took such great care of our cats while we were away. Her updates were so thorough and thoughtful! We look forward to our next opportunity to book with her :)
I have used Sandy several times for drop in visits. She is very professional, reliable, and really cares about my pets. Each time she communicates well before the visits and provides photos and information during the visits. It is great to have someone I can rely on and trust when I am away.
Sandy is the best! Not only did she take wonderful care of my Onyx…she turns on my plant lights, collected my mail, watered my plants, sent me so many pictures and cleaned up my cat’s vomit! I highly recommend her.
This was the fourth time Sandy took care of my pets. With almost no notice Sandy was able to accommodate our needs. As usual her communication was great, our pets were well cared for, and we were confident leaving them in her care. I am so glad we were able to connect with her.

Doggy Daycare and Boarding visitors will be given tons of affection, attention and playtime. For Drop-In visits, I am more than happy to not only give your pet the basic care they need, but love to interact and play with them. I love bringing new toys with me to spark their curiosity and interest. If you need additional little jobs done like watering plants, getting mail, etc., please don't hesitate to ask.

Information Sandy M. would like to know about your pet
Meet and greets are a great way to introduce ourselves and our dogs to each other to make sure our home and lifestyle are compatible with your dog’s needs. I am happy to care for small to medium sized dogs, and really enjoy playful, snuggly, good-natured dogs. I’m afraid I cannot accept a dog with a known history of aggression or marking their territory indoors. If your dog has anxiety that manifests itself in the form of being unable to stay alone in a room without barking or whining, please share this information with me as well.
A typical day
Our dog, Emmy, loves to make new friends! We have a fenced in backyard that is perfect for running around and playing with a covered porch for shade and weather protection. Indoors, we have lots of cozy places for snuggling, MANY toys to play with and windows to look out of for bird and people watching.

Availability
I have quite a flexible schedule and a lot of availability to care for your furry family members and promise to love them like my own. My husband, Francis, works from home, and I only work part time. That means your dog just about ALWAYS has someone around for company and playtime. It also means I can accommodate most needed drop-in visits as well for both dogs and cats.
