It cuts down the costs and the stress of having to dash over to the owners home every time I need to spend time with the pups, it also makes it more comfortable for the pets. In my experience, I’ve noticed pets could get distressed when a sitter leaves constantly or for long periods of time (if they are not used to that). It can be or feel confusing for them, I typically catch up on my studies, read, cook, work on my shop during down times. Knowing that someone is there, present for their every need typically makes for a happier and more comfortable experience for the fur babies. Safety is of top priority, always. Getting vet information, housing security info which doors to keep locked, at what times, etc. are the important things to know for me. Health is important, too. Understanding their limitations (if any), their natural breed characteristics are also big for me. Lastly, I am great with leashes, walks, knowing when to avoid animals or people.
