Pet care experience
(Fully Vaccinated) Hello, everyone! I'm Sandy. I love spending time with animals and being outdoors. I've had dogs growing up, so I know what it takes to keep pets healthy, happy, and safe! I spent over 5 years pet sitting while in college with DogVacay and with Rover and I have cared for loads of pets throughout Los Angeles county. I have years of experience in dealing with multiple breeds, ages, needs, and behavior. Please send me a message if you have any further questions for me about my experience. Pro Experience: I spent an additional 2.5 years of volunteering at Seaaca Animal Shelter where I was able to walk and interact with dogs, groom them, and even medicated them when needed. I've also babysat a lot of pets growing up so, your pet will be in great hands if you choose me! Services: I offer checkups, walking, and extended sitting, as I am no longer able to host dogs at my house. During the booking, you will get updates via text, call, and even video call (or whichever you prefer) - contact me for more info! I serve within a 10-mile radius of 90715, although I occasionally accept surroundings cities if it works out with my schedule. Message me if you have any questions! Thanks again for stopping by! Feel free to message for a quick response! Can't wait to meet your pets! All the best, Sandy I prefer to pet sit while simultaneously house-sit for convenience. It cuts down the costs and the stress of having to dash over to the owners home every time I need to spend time with the pups, it also makes it more comfortable for the pets. In my experience, I’ve noticed pets could get distressed when a sitter leaves constantly or for long periods of time (if they are not used to that). It can be or feel confusing for them, I typically catch up on my studies, read, cook, work on my shop during down times. Knowing that someone is there, present for their every need typically makes for a happier and more comfortable experience for the fur babies. Safety is of top priority, always. Getting vet information, housing security info which doors to keep locked, at what times, etc. are the important things to know for me. Health is important, too. Understanding their limitations (if any), their natural breed characteristics are also big for me. Lastly, I am great with leashes, walks, knowing when to avoid animals or people.
Reviews
Sandy was amazing! We booked Sandy for house sitting. She made sure our dog and home were well taken care of and followed all the instructions for our dog's care. Sandy is very communicative and sent regular updates, photos and videos while we were away. We will definitely book her again.
Sandy was amazing. She took really good care of our Boba when we were out on a cruise. He enjoyed playing with her and we came back home to a happy puppy. We would definitely use her service again.
Sandy was great with my dog! She dogsat at my house for a few days and kept me updated with daily texts / was easy to stay in contact with. My dog is a senior with some special needs (blind, takes medication, etc.) and Sandy took great care of him and paid special attention to him as needed. Sandy also left my space in order. Would recommend!
Sandy was an excellent dog/house sitter! Phoebe was phenomenally happy with her new friend's visit. We were very happy with the way the house was left as well. Sandy was very communicative and sent updates throughout the week.

I can’t host your fur babies currently but when I visit your home and take care of your pups and or cats, I make sure I keep your home safe, clean, and I respect your furniture. I’m super careful with things and I’m happy to change sheets and wash after if washing machine is available:-)
Information Sandy L. would like to know about your pet
I mostly want to know if your dog is friendly, playful, shy, needs a lot of attention, and if he or she takes any medications.
A typical day
I am aware that every dog is different and parents, too. I respect the routines set in place by pet owners and I also go by what the dogs needs are. I typically like to spend time in the back yard playing fetch, hiding treats, petting, running with them, squeaking fun toys, etc when they need to burn off energy and exercise. Also, I enjoy spending calm time with them, watching a movie with them, feeding them, practice any commands, belly rubs, petting time. I am happy to provide them with whatever the needs are for the pups and the parents!
