Care for K9 and Feline Kids
Pet care experience
I was raised with German Shepherds who were obedience trained. For the past 32 years I raised 6 Boxers, 5 obedience trained and 1 a show dog. It is my belief adopting a pet is a commitment for life and they are to be treated as a family member. I have also owned cats and raised exotic birds, hand feeding many baby birds. I am a licensed healthcare provider able to administer medication, injections, CPR and perform wound care. CPR on an animal is not always effective.
Reviews
Sandy is totally awesome with our Cody. He loves every time we drop him off.
My first time using Rover and WAS LUCKY to have found and chosen Sandy! She is over the top amazing. She watched my dog during the holidays and last minute at that! I will not settle for any less than Sandy from now on. She is my sitter! Love love love!!!!!!
Sandy is great with Cody and Cody loves going over for playdates. Whenever I leave Cody with Sandy I feel so comfortable knowing he’s with her.
Sandy was SUPERB with my Cody! She’s so in touch with the dogs and truly cares/loves them. I was so happy with her care of Cody and would recommend her for your pets care.

My service is safety first with the pet in the client’s home or mine. I have large crates, 4’ L x 3’ H x 2 1/2’ W and a large wire play pen that will configure to any shape and covers up to 32 ft.². Your pet would spend time rotating between crate, playpen, and outside play for 30 minutes three times per day, as well as toileting every two hours. This would need to be agreeable with pet owner. I have two medium size dogs. I’m experienced with introducing dogs safely and I am particular about this.

Information Sandy D. would like to know about your pet
I have a two page questionnaire as it is important to know as much as I can about your pet. Rover‘s policy is to have a ‘meet and greet’ visit to assure sitter and pet are a good match. I have no breed preferences. Medical conditions? Medications? Trigger areas not to be touched? Other triggers such as ethnicity, hats, bikes, motorcycles? Past biting or mouthing incident? Quarantines? Vaccinations, especially rabies, up to date? Runs away off leash? Doesn't come when called? Toileting habits? Destructive habits? Separation anxiety? Food or other allergies? Where are the pets treats, food, etc.? Where does the pet spend most of its time in the home? Was the pet crate trained and is he/she comfortable in a crate for short periods up to 2 hours? My crates are oversized. Fully vaccinated pets only, and no biters .
A typical day
Walking is provided with safety first and according to client specifications regarding location. location would be discussed with the pet owner. Walks would possibly be done in the pets neighborhood providing sitter and dog are safe. If area is contained, ball tossing, hide and seek, or familiar play. Toileting for dogs would be every two hours or according to client specifications. Feeding and dispensing of medication‘s to be done according to client specifications.

Availability
I am semi-retired, presently not working. My schedule is flexible, seven days a week. I would like to provide pet care as a part time job, maintaining a flexible schedule and availability to pets. I am available to do drop in visits 24/7 or as late in the evening and as early in the morning as requested. If requested, I’m happy to send text messages, photos, even recordings ( when possible ) as an update for each service.
