Hi - I have recently relocated to Calgary NW and look forward to helping folks care for their pups - big and small - so you can rest easy on your time away! I am a horse person as well, (25+ years) so if you need care for your horses or other animals while you are away - let's chat! If you are new to Rover - I have a discount code that will save you $20! Woot! More money for treats! Just ask me for the code before you book!** I sit just one dog at a time or dogs that are from the same family, and in my opinion, it is less chaotic. Plus it allows me to pay more attention to your dog(s)... Note: at certain times of year (holiday for example) due to increasing demand I've added daycare w/repeat clients. For this reason being up to date on shots is key! My dogs are so I kindly request yours are as well for everyones health and well-being : ) Doggy Daycare is a super option - typically 10-12 hour max for that service. Perfect if you are heading to Banff or further afield for the day...well socialized or friendly dogs are preferred for it to be fun for them however I can work with grumpy critters too if need be. Early or late in the day arrangements are 100% fine with me - the best part of coming home is getting the dog right?! (6am-10pm or later upon request). If you are interested in regular daycare - I am happy to work with you and can have Rover adjust the rates so it is more affordable - this applies to 7+ dates. Size doesn't matter - from teeny-tiny to almost a pony! Long walks, car rides or just playtime in - all good. Just tell me what works best and I'll do my very best to make that happen. My goal is to ensure you have a worry-free experience while your dog has a fun-filled stress free experience as well... Any questions - do not hesitate to ask - chatting in advance - is ideal and if you'd like to meet first - we can do that too! You will likely notice a number of reviews on my profile from the Southern US and Canada / Northern BC including Kelowna BC to be closer to my elderly father.... I'm back in Calgary now and as a remote worker - am home all day most days... Note: It is best to book me soon so you secure your spot. I hope I can help you out with your pet care needs!

I’ve been so grateful to have Sandy as a dog sitter. She has been so accommodating and helpful every step of the way. I know everytime my dog stays with her she’s going to be well taken care of and come back pooped from spending the day playing.
Another fun filled weekend for Milo with his best friend Pete! He is always so well taken care of!

Just let me know what you dog enjoys most - a certain toy, walks or playtime, sleeping on the bed or time/space to be alone. I'm happy to cater to their needs so that they have a great experience and you know they will get the kind of attention that gives them the most comfort. Please note: I can't accept intact males or dogs with separation anxiety. I STRONGLY encourage a meet and greet - it's ideal for your dog and for us to meet in person to ensure it is a fit! My goal is to make this as stress free as possible...
A typical day
Activities your dog can experience with us: lots of playtime, walks in the neighbourhood!! Of course-- to manage expectations this is if your dog is good on a leash and not reactive with dogs, cats or humans for safety reasons of course!

Availability
I typically walk my own dogs morning, noon and evening and if that works for your dog too - awesome! I do not crate dogs unless you would like me to of course.
