My furry family member, Scarlette, has never attempted to run away, but in Sandra’s care, Scarlette escaped from Sandra’s back yard. After this incident, I did research and I read that if a dog is determined enough, they can squeeze through any hole, including one like Sandra has in her fence; however, the most disturbing part of this incident was that Sandra left Scarlette alone outside and didn’t notice until hours later that my pet was gone. Additionally, Scarlette had lost quite a bit of weight in the 5 days she was there which I was not made aware of and ended up needing vet care for a cut on her paw and the weight loss. On the flip side, Sandra did search and utilize many tools to find Scarlette and get her back, subsequently watched her for the remainder of the stay, and was honest and upfront about the escape and contacted Rover and me right away about the incident. Personally, I would never leave Scarlette with Sandra again.

Sandra was a lifesaver and was able to watch Jax over Thanksgiving when our pet sitter canceled at the last minute! Jax was happy there and even slept with one of her daughters. He enjoyed having other dogs and kids around and we were glad he was in good hands. We will be using Sandra the next time we go out of town.
