I love and enjoy dogs of all ages. I have owned several long-lived dogs (13-16 years each) from puppyhood on, and am familiar with possible issues senior dogs may have. I have enjoyed sitting with puppies to seniors - they all have something special with such diverse personalities. I am somewhat firm re basic manners, but also a soft touch. Eventually I hope to adopt a new companion, but meanwhile thoroughly enjoy spending time with new canine friends.

Sandra took great care of our older dog who had just had surgery and needed a little extra TLC. She sent us daily pictures which was an awesome treat.
Above and beyond the call of duty. Sandra cared for our three dogs with care and thoughtfulness. Our oldest dog is over 17, blind, deaf, and needs to be carried everywhere. She treated him with great kindness. The other two were walked routinely and I swear they cried when Sandra left. We will definitely try to get Sandra again when we have our next trip.
Sandra was wonderful to work with. Though she specializes in caring for older dogs, she agreed to stay with our rambunctious 11-month old kitten, Sven. He can be quite the handful and Sandra was super patient and was a fantastic communicator while we were away, sending lots of updates so we didn't have to worry. Sven was in terrific spirits when we got home and the house was tidy with the sheets already in the wash. Sandra is also really fun to talk and text with and we look forward to working with her again!
