I have 25 years experience with many types of animals and the honor of caring for aging animals with medical needs. I am experienced in administering medications and handling animals with special needs. You can count on me to be professional as well as loving and attentive to your pet. I am a good communicator and use the Rover app to send daily pictures and updates.

Your pet's safety is my number one focus. It is important to me I develop a calm and trusting relationship with each animal. Once your dog is dropped off I start bonding with him/her right away. I have learned dogs adjust quickly to this method and start to feel comfortable after a few hours. There is nothing like a dog giving you their trust in a new situation!

A typical day
BOARDING Once you drop off at our home my goal is to establish trust and acceptance with your dog(s) at the beginning. From a dog's perspective leaving their "pack" (your family) and being asked to integrate into our pack and our home can be challenging for some dogs. I tune into that and allow the dog to explore the environment and show them boundaries and limitations. I let them know I can be a "pack" leader, they are accepted into my home, and they are safe being with me.

I love animals and have always been drawn to the care and training of animals. I take short term and long-term boarders and I try to take only one or two families at a time.
