Hello! Guten Tag! First of all thank you for taking the time to read MY profile☺ I love dogs and love taking care of them! I have worked with dogs for quite a while now. I grew up in Germany and my first job was being a dog walker. Being out in nature with a dog is great! I also worked in animal shelters and in a dog boarding and training facility. I grew up taking bicycle vacations and sleeping over on farms along the way which I truly enjoyed. ...now my family and I live close to the mountains in Frederick, Md. We have a large fenced in yard and own dogs ourselves. We have a few small dogs: a Chihuahua (Herkules) and 4 Chinese Crested (Happy, Teddy, Tina and Nico). My dogs get along well with gentle big dogs and most friendly small dogs. We have a separate fenced in area for my dogsitting business in our yard. My husband and I both stay home. My husband grew up in a family of dog lovers. They fostered and bred dogs. My husband and I only met because he was looking for a dog walker. Dogs that stay with us are let out very often to explore and play in our yard. I used to work at the doggie daycare at "Sit means Sit" in Frederick (dog boarding and training company). I met all kind of different dog breeds and learned a lot more about dog behavior and their body language. I would love to take care of your dog(s). If you are on a business trip or go on vacation I will be there to take care of your dog. Your dog will get lots of attention. If your dog likes kids then my 2 older boys (8 and 10) enjoy playing with dogs too. I will feed your dog the right amount of dog food and treat him as if he is my own. I will make sure that any medicine is given at the right time. I can also give flea protection if your dog is with me during the time when he will need it again. I only sit dogs with flea/ tick protection and dewormed dogs. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and getting to know your four-legged friend! Dogsitting is our full time job. I always make sure I only let dogs out together if they get along and try to have small dogs out separate or with gentle bigger dogs. If your dog is not social then he can be let out alone too. I offer dog boarding and daycare during the week and on weekends. Earliest drop off is usually 7am. Even though I have had exceptions. Latest pick up is 9pm. I put my kids to bed around 7-8pm so pick up anytime before that time is best for us.
