We prefer to be advised of the dogs medical history. We would like to be informed of their shot and Vet schedule. We will not exceed more than 3 animals ever at a time and the dogs health is our number 1 priority. We ask that you bring any personal chew toys that we can keep for your pet only. We suggest that all pets get a Bordetella shot in case of kennel cough. Please let us know of the dogs temperament, ie how they react with others animals, children, strangers, or any personal quirks that they have developed. We want to have them as comfortable as possible and don't feel they should ever be pushed outside their comfort zone while with us. As with any small child, they need that special consideration.

There are several parks near our home that are great for pets. We have had several animals whose activities levels have varied so depending on the age and ability of your pet, we will walk to a certain park or just in the neighborhood. The minimum walking distance is a half mile walk that takes about a 20 minutes. It's a small walk around the block that lets the dog stretch his legs and do what dogs do. :) Your dog's sleeping arrangement: I have a papason chair with a super comfy cushion, my comfy couch, or floor which is free of clutter. We also have kennels available if they feel more comfortable in a secure environment. We try to avoid any kennel time and feel more comfortable with them making themselves at home but if we do have to leave the home for any reason, we will put the animals in separate kennels for their safety until we have developed the relationship and know their temperament together. :) Time I'll spend with your dog: We love the company of animals and plan to be available during their entire stay. There are times and appointments that we have to keep which might pull us away for an hour or so at the maximum but we will let you know of any prearranged time away from home.
