I have had dogs since I was seven years old and have never met a dog with which I could not communicate. Frequent potty breaks, lots of exercise, and copious amounts of love, companionship, and work make up life with a dog and I love every second of it. I will treat your dogs as if they were mine and can even help train them if so desired. I am very used to handling large and heavy dogs with lots of strength and am familiar with the pack dynamic that occurs when multiple dogs live together. No amount of pet-caused chaos can phase me, after almost 20 years, I have seen it all and can handle any situation with love and care while safeguarding both pet and home.

Sam is excellent!! Very comfortable with my dog, reliable, courteous, trustworthy, positive attitude, and a good communicator. He goes above and beyond by making sure Harry (my dog) gets plenty of exercise on mid-day visits and sending me a check-in report with a photo each time. It’s nice to have someone so dependable!
Sam was raised with Bassett Hounds, Corgis and Retrievers. He has been involved with exercising, feeding, training and most importantly, loving all of them. And the dogs do love him back. He has sat for us and is a dependable and caring pet sitter.

I have no breed preferences, but have the most experience with breeds that can become large and heavy such as Basset Hounds and Flat-Coated Retrievers.
A typical day
Unless otherwise stipulated, I intend to walk dogs in an area with which they are familiar, such as their home neighborhood or a park nearby. I used to run cross country and will be able to run and play with them without taking them off-lead and safety will always be paramount. In addition, local nature trails and paths make for ideal walks due to the plethora of interesting smells for the dogs.
