I am great with animals, I'm also a big fan of animals in general. Many weekends you can find me at the zoo, and I know an unnecessary amount of animal fun facts. I grew up with a cat, dog, and my own tropical fish aquarium. I have plenty experience walking dogs, both my own, and dogs belonging to members of the community in NYC. I have a pampered pet cat, and know that they shouldn't be treated the same as dogs. Sam is honestly just a really nice guy who cares for all animals he takes care of- furry or scaly. I have an American ball python and had to be out of town for a little while. I was really nervous because people are often so flippant with care for reptiles, but Sam really cared for her. He made sure to send me multiple updates about the humidity and temperature of the tank, and pictures of course. He did a lot of prior research as well as took detailed notes of my instructions on how to handle and feed her. When I came back, her tank was clean, she was happily fed, and the temperature and humidity was perfect. Sam is a very thorough and overall great pet sitter!
I am happy to provide a testimonial for Sam for his love of animals and his responsible care of cats, dogs, fish, and a snake. Sam was a daily walker for Tinkerbell, a lab mix in New York city, and was incredibly responsible in making sure that "Bell" got her exercise and love - but was also kept safe from various distractions and dangers in the city. Sam also took care of my cats, and he showed the same amount of affection and deep connection to those fur babies as well. He is a responsible college student with his own transportation.

If you tell me that your Great Dane will only go potty if I spin around in circles 3 times, then it looks like I'm spinning. When it comes to animals trusting me, I understand that trust isn't inherent. Generally it come from the correct tone, getting on their level, and as many pats and treats as necessary.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on a nice walk. It's great how there's so many nice areas to go for short hike in the area. Once I know them well enough, I like to bring a frisbee or a ball for some catch in the park.
