Dog friendly garden. Caring hosts

Pet care experience

We are both dog lovers. We had our own dog Lady for 12 years till we suddenly lost her in 2022. We also had a Bischon who we lost at 17 years old. She was also called Lady coincidentally as we both had our own Lady before we even met. I have had 3 Springer Spaniels as an adult and grew up with a few dogs as a child. I adore dogs and would welcome them to our home with open arms. We have been together for 12 years and married for 6. We were trying to become foster carers but have been refused 4 times. We can also try to accommodate any special requests you may have. We also follow your rules so they stay in their usual routine. We have had dogs with Cancer, Diabetes, Dementia etc and have had to give medication, either injection, liquid or tablets. Please note that dog day care is for a 24 hour period. So if the visit is over 24 hours there may be an extra charge depending on how many extra hours the dog is here for. There is an extra rate for bank holiday. Christmas and New Year etc which would mean the price would need to be amended before confirming the booking.

Nellie was very well cared for at her overnight stay - we did appreciate the picture. Sam took a lot of care to get to know her in our pre-visit and we'll definitely book in again.

Sam and Craig are so kind and caring and looked after our dog so well. We had regular messages and updates and would highly recommend them!

Samuel has been very easy to communicate with, has shown a lot of consideration and care of my puppy. I feel very confident when I leave her for the day and she appears always happy to go with him. Definitely recommend.

Information Samuel R. would like to know about your pet

What are their bad habits? (Be honest and we can work with them) Do they chew carpets or furniture? Are they fully house trained? Do they have any allergies? We don't have any preference on breeds as long as they are good with other dogs and people. Are house trained, don't chew things up.

A typical day

We have a big garden and a park down the road which is perfect for walking dogs. We also have dog toys they can play with. We also visit my Mum who lives across the road and has a large garden too. We play fetch or with a rope toy for tug of war. If we have a puppy staying we like to help train them. Things like sit, paw, lay down etc.
