Together, my dog Gryffin and I are doggie daycare veterans. I have been bringing Gryffin to an in-home daycare and boarding since he was a puppy, and for the last year, I've been helping to run the show with sometimes up to 15 dogs under my care at once. This experience has prepared me to work with all manner of pups in my home, yours, or out in the world while on walks. Gryffin makes a great assistant for an in-home daycare or dog walking. As a result of my experience working in dog daycare and as a pet parent, I am familiar with administering medication and can follow any feeding and med routines your dog may need. High-energy and high-needs dogs can both be accommodated. If that is your pup I look forward to discussing what their needs are and making sure that they will be a good fit here. I have several years of experience working with dogs 1:1 and in groups on positive reinforcement training. While this is not a service that I offer, we may find ourselves working on some training for fun while your pup is here! If so, we’ll focus on: -Competence with basic commands -Redirecting away from problem behaviors -Good listening skills I would be happy to answer them and address any questions you have about my experience or about what you and your pup can expect from working with me!

SAFETY and ENVIRONMENT: While in my care your dog will receive a great deal of 1:1 attention. My philosophy is to get to know each dog who I get to work with very well so that I can attend to and anticipate their needs to the best of my ability. If your home allows, your dog will make fast friends with my own pup Gryffin! Gryffin is a 5-year-old mixed-breed dog who is a daycare vet. He is comfortable with both large and small dogs of all temperaments. Gryff is a champ at helping dogs that may be feeling anxious or confused be more at ease in a new space. Gryff will also join in on any training sessions that take place as he LOVES snacks and will want to show other dogs that are around how good he is at doing tricks for treats! Please know that if an emergency situation were to arise I will not hesitate to act. Protecting the lives and health of the animals in my care is something I take very seriously and while I don't expect any emergencies to occur I will respond to them swiftly if need be. In addition to the safety of the home, your dogs will also be protected and cared for with consistent supervision. I aim to get to know your dogs and to treat them like one of the family while they are in my care.

Availability
SCHEDULING: My aim is to be both flexible and consistent which is why I allow for both same-day bookings and cancellations. As a pet parent myself, I know how important it is to secure care for our animals. As a person, I know how easy it is for schedules, needs, and priorities to shift sometimes even last minute. Bringing your dog to daycare, or boarding them, should be a relief and not something to cause any additional worries. I'll be with them 100% of the time and we will take many enriching walks, runs, or romps in the park depending on your pet's energy level and needs. Please reach out anytime with questions that have to do with changes in schedule or availability.
