I have had dogs all my life, worked an many animal shelters from New York and Baltimore. I find dogs to be very smart , intuitive, loving and compassionate pets. I don't think of dogs as pets as much as think about them as being a friend. As compassionate as they are to you, they should be rewarded just the same in return. Dogs to dog lovers, or dog owners are their family their children and should be treated as such.
