My experience with pet health care started very early on as a child. My mother was a Veterinarian Technician - which gave me organic developmental knowledge of pet care early on. With that continued passion, I attended college at Vet Tech Institute and previously worked at a profound animal hospital as a Veterinarian Technician and Client Care Specialist. During my college years, I was hands on in-training with the K9 Unit of the United States Air Force, and volunteered at animal shelters around the West Loop of Chicago. Animal health care is and will always be my first love. With confidence, I'm educated enough to explain to inquired clients about the importance of vaccines, I assisted with surgery for spays/neuters/teeth cleanings, and organized medical data for pet records. It's a dream come true to be in a field where you don't feel like you're ‘working’… I wanted more time with dogs and cats, so that’s why I chose to join Rover. I took a 1 year hiatus because now I’m a flight attendant, but I utilize my extensive time off by delving back to my roots and enjoying the companionship of fur babies!
