Pet care experience
Since childhood, I have always been drawn to animals. My family always had at least one dog in the house, along with a variety of other weird pets (hamsters, rabbits, hermit crabs, you name it). My family's current dogs are a 100 pound Leonberger named Piper and a 145 pound Leonberger named Rowdy. Before I moved out to Hawaii in September, I was their main caretaker. We took daily walks around the neighborhood, trips to the dog park, and ran around the backyard until one of us got too tired to continue ;) I have also done many overnight dog, cat, and house sitting stays for old neighbors, family members and people on Rover. I take instruction very easily and am happy to provide your pet with whatever care is necessary!

Sammy was the best dog sitter I could’ve asked for!! My mind was completely at ease knowing she was watching after my Bodie. She sent lots of pictures of him and always kept me updated on how he was doing. Bodie was so happy being with her. If you're looking for a dog sitter or walker, look no further! Sammy has watched 2 of my dogs in the past and is super compassionate and loving. My dogs have always been exhausted after spending time with her as she's very active and makes sure they are too!
Sammy watched my dog while my partner and I were away on our honeymoon. We'd never left Suzie in the care of someone else before, and let me tell you - it felt so good to have no concerns or worries the entire time. She is a natural with dogs, treats them as though they were her own, and really made us comfortable leaving Suzie with her for a week. Could not recommend any Rover sitter more than Sammy!

I love taking long walks at least once or twice a day! When I was living with my parents before moving out to Boulder, I took their 2 dogs to the dog park every day in addition to a walk around the neighborhood! I love doing active things with dogs so they won’t be bored with me!

Availability
I started a grad program at CU in August. This semester, I don’t have multiple classes in a row on any given day, so I would definitely make sure to go home to care for your pet when i’m not in class! Additionally, I work at a restaurant on Pearl St. twice a week, and my shifts are usually no more than 5 hours long.
