A typical day
While staying with me, your dog will be able to enjoy a small to medium sized yard that is big enough for play time and zoomies. The yard is surrounded by a chain link fence and has a decent amount of shade for those extra hot days. I live in a 3 bedroom home that has plenty of room for your pet to stretch out and get comfy. I like to make sure the dogs I'm watching constantly have access to something stimulating - toys, yard time, etc. Depending on the dog's age, temperament, or personality we might spend more time on walks or napping on the couch. I enjoy taking the dogs I'm watching on walks through town for socialization or down to the river to relax. I frequently take large breed dogs and puppies to the dog park to get their energy out.

Pet care experience
I relocated from Colorado to here in Jacksonville, FL about a year ago! I am now in the Murray Hill area. I have six months of veterinary experience, two years of dogsitting on Rover, and a lifetime of experience in animal care 🐶❤️🐾 About Me: From growing up on a farm to working in a veterinary hospital, I have a lot of experience working with a lot of different animals! From farm animals to your sweet fur babies and everything in between! I have been obsessed with animals my whole life and love to learn as much as I can about them all. Seeing how each animal interacts with the world is fascinating to me. I hope to run my own rescue one day. I love a challenge and have worked with many difficult pet personalities. I won't shy away from a puppy in training or a senior dog that needs multiple medications throughout the day. Come one, come all I have all the love and attention to give!

Sammy was great! She was sweet with Milo even when he was nervous for his first night away. She has a big backyard for the dogs to play which Milo loved.
Sammy was great with my nervous dog and took care to help her get used to things and sent us lots of updates.
Sammy did an excellent job with communication and keeping my pup happy. I have a special needs dog and you can really tell Sammy cares for her clients the way she would care for her own pup. I will definitely be calling on her again.
