Cheery, experienced dog lover!

Pet care experience

I lived with dogs growing up, and I know how to care for them and give them lots of love. I have had small dogs (pomeranians) and big dogs (samoyeds) so I have experience with both and can easily sit either size dog. I am a recent UVA graduate and I wanted to spend my free time in my new home of New York City in a fulfilling way: taking care of some sweet canines! I have a ton of time when I'm not working so please don’t hesitate to contact me so I can dogsit or walk your pup, I can’t wait to meet them. Sammi is a real pro - I needed someone to watch my dog last minute over a holiday weekend and was fortunate enough to find her. She responded to all messages very promptly, was very flexible when it came to setting up a meet & greet, as well as drop-off and pick-up. Kept me updated with pictures and updates throughout the stay and my dog Syd was very happy (and tired out) when I picked her up. I would recommend Sammi to anyone needing any of the services she offers, and I can safely say I would trust her with my dog anytime! 10/10

Sammi is by far and away one of the most responsible, caring, and genuine human beings that I have had the pleasure of knowing. Her days are meticulously planned down to the minute to ensure that she has ample time to complete and remember every one of her scheduled tasks--which also include daily reminders to catch up with and appreciate her friendships. Not only is Sammi incredibly reliable, but she also has the biggest heart and greets every face with open arms. Sammi's experiences as a responsible roommate, extremely gifted college student, and also a loving dog owner have given her the skills to be the best choice for your dog sitter.

I have a clean, lovely little apartment in Yorkville where I can care for your dog, and it's just a few blocks from Central Park so I can absolutely bring them there - or keep them safe and sound at your home! Whatever your comfort level is.

No breed preferences, come one come all! I just request that the owners are friendly and flexible :) Please warn me though if your dog has a history of aggression or any specific medical needs because I will definitely need to take that into consideration for the visit.

A typical day

We will absolutely go on walks and I can play fetch with them too! If you have a more active dog, I am very available to run with them. I'm right down the street from Central Park so that is absolutely an option.
